Diagnostic Assessments

Diagnostic Assessment involves the collection of data through the use of tests, interviews, case studies, behavioral observation, and other techniques to measure measure development, personality, attitudes, cognitive, social, or emotional functioning/abilities. Assessment data is also used to diagnosis disorders, classify disabilities, determine psychological aspects of a illness, injury or disability; eligibility determination; and treatment planning.

Counseling/Psychotherapy

Counseling and Psychotherapy are terms that are often used interchangeably with subtle differences. In practice counseling and psychotherapy often overlap, with both involving a therapeutic interaction between a client and a mental health clinician working together to solve issues.

Eclectic Cognitive Behavioral Center has been approved by NBCC as an Approved Continuing Education Provider; and collaborates with organizations to provide continuing education opportunities for addiction counselors, social workers, and a host of other professionals.

 

Clinical Supervision

Eclectic provides clinical supervision for individuals pursuing licensure or certification as a:

  • Licensed Professional Counselor

  • Practicum/Internship Master/Doctorate degree in Counseling or Psychology.
